Hi, I’m Joanne, and I’m passionate about helping children, youth, adults, and families navigate difficult emotions, past trauma, or life transitions to find clarity, connection, and healing. I believe therapy should be a truly safe and compassionate place to begin or continue your healing journey, where you have space to explore how your inner and outer worlds connect, and where I can meet you where you are at.
Combining evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a deep understanding of the creative process, my approach is collaborative and strengths-based. I draw from postmodernism, person-centred, and mindfulness methods to help access what your subconscious needs in the moment.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, past trauma, or life transitions - with a warm, client-centered approach, I offer a supportive space where individuals of all ages can explore emotions, build insight, and reconnect with their inner healing. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and a deep respect for each person's story. Whether through painting, collage, sculpture, poetry, drawing, or storytelling, I encourage clients let their creativity lead to discover their own path toward healing and growth.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy nature, music, finding new ways of researching, yoga, and a good cup of coffee.
I’m currently accepting new clients for in-person and virtual and in-person psychotherapy or art therapy. Currently offering evening appointments.
